Bow Tie Formal
“Why do some ppl wear bow tie in day?” Pls read further?
It is blacktie in evening(tuxedo or dinner jacket), semiformal; while white tie in evening with white vest and tailed jacket, formal.
in morning stroller or steresseman (with 4 in a hand tie)as semiformal; and formal morning wear is tailcoat and stripped trousers.
But one thing I am unable to grasp is bow tie in morning wear? is it formal, semi or informal? then hw does it explain the above things?
pls help. detailed answer expected. i m researching….

You don’t say what type of bow tie, or what it is worn with. As I told you before, some bow ties are just a style. It has been popular since at least the 1920s, and seems often to suit the college crowd. Bow ties are proper with certain tux styles as well. It is a fashion, they change and are adaptable.
