Old time pageant (civil war times)?
Ok, i have a pageant coming up, and i don’t know what i should be, you have to pick someone out of the old times….For example, doc holiday, wyatt earp….but i need a girl? Please help, name some names and i will research it…= )

This is an example of the description of a Civil War woman,
Letitia M. Burwell was born on a plantation in Virginia and spent most of her life in the rural regions of that state. Her book, A Girl’s life in Virginia Before the War (1895), records her memories of the antebellum South. Burwell’s descriptions of life on the plantation are filled with pastoral scenes of a wealthy Virginia family engaged in the daily pleasures of their time.

If you sew, there are costume patterns available at McCalls and Simplicity at fabric stores which are relatively easy.
As far as hair, email me and I can instruct you on styling your own hair. I am Pentecostal and have long hair which I dress in curls, chignons, buns, or braid. Let me know because it is time consuming and a little hard to master, but cheaper than going to a hairdresser, which could cost maybe $50.00 or more. I can also email pictures of my styling if there are any questions.
