Youth Baseball Camps – Houston, Tx??
I am from Magnolia, Tx and have a 9 year old son who is wanting to attend a baseball camp or clinic this summer. Does anyone out there know of a good place. This boy loves the game of baseball and is very athletic. He is good but at this age he is still learning technique, etc. His positions have been catcher and 2nd base. If someone out there could help, I would greatly appreciate it!! As a mother, a want to support his passions.
Personally I am not from Texas, but Baseball Caps are amazing. I had so much fun, back in the day when I attended them. Though I can’t suggest any in the area, I can give a few pointers when selecting them. Most camps are run by a former pro/semi-pro ballplayer. Google them when you see who runs the various camps. Some of the high quality and really good camp instructors have bio’s online about their camps, and those are the ones you want to send your kid too. Some will be fun camps, and some will be more intense camps, but there should be some information online. If you are still lost, ask the local little league, or even the local high school, if the coach there could recommend any camps for younger players. I hope you can find a great one for your son, as baseball was such a key part in my growing up. I hope he can enjoy it just the same. Good Luck!
